For the record, we are not two kids playing dress up at some adult people's wedding. When I look at this , I am shocked that her dad actually agreed to me 'taking his daughter's hand in marriage' and more shocked that the gorgeous, voluptuous , sexy, sweet, and much-more-mature-than-me Sue didn't tell me where to shove it. That was her one fault, she didn't have a clue what she was getting her poor self into. It seems like SOMEBODY shoulda told us kids to grow up and come back in ten years or so and see if we were still interested. As I've seen my kids pass up some of our milestones ( 14, 20, 23, 27, now 60)--As in "we started going out when we were 14,": "we married when we were 20" : we had our first child when we were 23" : "we finished school when we were 27" : "we had five kids when we were 35". (Sue got her masters after she had her 7th)
Now, come August 19, 2013 is forty years since we dressed in front of that cake. Best, smartest move I ever made and Each of my kids have magnified it, What more do I need.? I'm the luckiest, as Sue says. Thank you God.
