This might be one of my shallower admissions, but even in the middle of a sunshine-filled day that is spirit-invigorating and soul-restoring, I still find myself excited at the prospect of watching some good Saturday night telly later on. Or rather, Friday Night Lights on Netflix; one of the best ensembles and smartest writing on network television the last decade. Or century. So good. Of course, I think I'm picking up a permanent Texas drawl as a result of watching one season. Some of y'all probably know what I mean.
