Dad.
There are so many moments I could choose as a microcosmic explanation of what I think is so great about you, but my current favourite is this: you are the only person in history I know who is torn over which movie to watch on his birthday:
Deadpool or
The Notebook.
And the truth is,
I know that you would truly immerse yourself and thoroughly appreciate either.
My great regrat for today is that I am not there sitting next to you with a bottle of RB watching an impossibly romantic love story with you. Or, we could also do The Notebook.
You are awesomeish. Glad you're my dad. Enjoy the rest.
